The University Club of San Francisco is centrally located atop Nob Hill in San Francisco. We are a private social Club that has overnight accommodations and banquet facilities for all types of events.

We are currently looking for a part time Housekeeping staffer to work shifts scheduled between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. -- up to 15 to 25 hours per week. Positive attitude and ability to effectively communicate, multi-task and enjoy working in fast-paced environment. Must be able to work independently and be able to take direction from the Front Desk staff and Management as necessary.

This position requires an individual with a flexible schedule and the availability to work weekends and holidays. There is the potential for increased hours through covering other Housekeepers on occasional days off. (This would generally be known in advance but sometimes same day coverage will be needed.)

Main Job Duties:
  • Clean all overnight guest rooms for newly arriving guests and those staying for longer periods.
  • Clean the common areas of the Hotel and the Club (Lobby, Hallways, Restrooms)
  • Stock Hotel linens, amenities and other related items in Housekeeping closet and cart.
  • Complete room inspection checklist for each room cleaned daily.
  • In addition to standard Hotel room cleaning, it is important to have an eye for detail to make sure every room has been completed up to our standards.

Must have a minimum of one year experience in a Hotel housekeeping role.
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
Ability to stand / walk for 6 -- 8 hour shifts and life 30 pounds repetitively throughout a shift.
